Maintenance Scheduler

Details: Maintenance SchedulerThe Maintenance Scheduler will be focused on ensuring the upkeep and/or repair of all plant systems, buildings, and production equipment. The Maintenance Scheduler role provides coordination for the right maintenance activities to be carried out on a timely basis with success being measure overall equipment effectiveness. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-Comply with all Boral Safety Policies -Solicit Quotes for Projects-Research/identify correct parts for equipment upkeep, new equipment part lists and specific project through established vendors and contractors-Complete Material Requisitions and Generate Stock Requests-Generate Purchase Requisition's for Maintenance and Other Plant Areas-Download Daily/Weekly Maintenance Tech Work Orders, Print out-On-site vendor lease liaison to ensure quality service per pre-negotiated contract terms, i.e. Forklifts, HVAC etc.-SAP Administration: o Update/Build PM's In SAPo Reviews, Adds and Subtracts needed Info in SAPo Provides Training on SAP to Production & Other Areaso Research New Machinery Parts Lists & Place in SAPo Generates Work Orders and closes them out in SAP- Keep all leadership informed of maintenance issues .SKILLS AND ABILITIES-Mechanical/Electrical parts knowledge-Blueprint/ Diagram reading-Ability to access all areas of facility and outside structures COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE COMPENTENCIES-CMMS program experience required (preferably SAP)-MS Office and OutlookEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE-High school diploma or equivalent is required-5 or more years of maintenances planning/scheduling work experience -Experience/knowledge of maintaining industrial equipment ( i.e. conveyors, gear boxes, Hydraulic, Batch, Water systems, pumps, etc) Source - Charlotte Observer
