Maintenance Manager

Details: Directs, schedules, and supervises maintenance staff to effectively maintain and improve facilities and equipment through effective preventative maintenance/calibration programs Performs emergency work orders, repairs and troubleshoots equipment in a timely manner Implement electronic data management system(s) (CMMS) in order to track work orders, resource allocation, and project costs  Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive reliability improvement program, which will ensure all equipment is maintained in a safe and reliable manner Responsible for understanding, monitoring, and optimizing maintenance costs within authorized budget Participates in Engineering and capital projects in assigned areas to ensure reliability, maintainability, cost effectiveness, and safety are delivered Works with all departments to coordinate inspections, calibrations, and repairs Post and communicate weekly maintenance schedule with plant personnel Monitor, develop and mentor personnel performance and document results via AMCOL Performance Management System Perform root cause analysis when applicable and complete necessary corrective actions and documentation Coordinate and enforce GMP and Safety training according to company policy Participate in plant process hazard analysis Write and/or update company SOP’s and procedures as needed to reflect current practices Works with purchasing to devise contracts and service agreements when applicable Monitor, measure, and report necessary monthly KPI’s to management group. Champion continuous improvement in productivity, process safety, personnel safety, quality and yield Implement and monitor change control policy in accordance with company procedure
