The Texas-based company employs more than 1,400 throughout Texas, Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico.Energy Transfer currently owns and operates more than 17,500 miles of natural gas gathering, interstate and intrastate transportation pipelines through, which is equal to approximately seven times the distance between Los Angeles and New York City.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:•Accountable for safe and efficient operations of compression facilities•Perform skilled mechanical duties involving operations, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing of natural gas engines, compressors, air compressors and other related equipment.•Inspect engines, compressors, and other mechanical equipment: diagnose problems and determine the extent of necessary repairs: perform repairs and routine preventative maintenance.•Maintain acceptable maintenance requirements in order to maximize unit availability and efficient operations.•Overhaul, repair and adjust engines, compressors, pumps and motors as required.•Provide inspection and maintenance on related control and support systems.•Provide general upkeep of facilities and equipment including buildings, company vehicles and shop areas.•Able to support existing call schedule and call outs.•Must be team oriented and self motivated with a strong commitment to safety operational and environmental policies.•Write routine reports and correspondence, and to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
