Details: Specific Duties:Repair mechanical problems on the machines such as: cup machines, inspection machines, vibrators, expanders, casers, baggers and related equipment as alerted to by Inspector Packers, Quality Control, Supervisor/lead person or alarms. Commonly involves checking and adjusting steam pressure valves; and checking, repairing or replacing timers, logic loading guns, solenoid valves, molds, limit switches, hoses or contact relays.Monitor cycle times on cup machines to ensure they are running at proper operating needs. Monitor the main computer screen to check nest efficiencies, reject rate and loss rate for each machine. Responsible for changing film on baggers.Align and replace molds on cup machines as necessary. Set up auxiliary equipment to run product changesCheck maintenance sheets for maintenance duties and scheduled service dates. Responsible for project work such as moving machines, small fabrication, welding and installation. Comply with good manufacturing practices (GMP) as required.Comply with Dart Container Corporation’s four Corporate Priorities: Safety, Quality, Service and Efficiency. Requirements and Qualifications:Requires carrying a tool belt at all times.2 years experience with basic hand tools.2 years Electrical/Mechanical systems experience.Ability to communicate verbally and written in English.Good work history required.
