Position Summary:Perform preventive maintenance on electrical controls and control systems. Perform line and equipment performance through better controls and integration. Assist line mechanics in troubleshooting problems associated with program and controls.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform preventive maintenance on controls and control systems according to CMMS Enhance equipment or line performance through program or control improvements Assist line mechanics in trouble shooting problems associated with programs or controls Reduce trouble shooting time by utilizing maintenance computer network to trouble shoot Resolve issues associated with programs Assist in designing new control systems Assure and maintain back up controls components, servo drives, PLC's, panel view's, etc. Be able to write moderate to complex programs for controls Perform periodic inspections Perform periodic system testing Perform control system calibration as required Report and address potential problem areas Follow all safety programs Assist with implementing control systems on projects when required Complete all required documentation Follow GMP's Other duties may be assigned
