Quality Maintenance Technician II - Mentor, OH

Details: Job SummaryThe Quality Maintenance Technician II (QMTII) will provide unit level support for maintenanceand safety standards, to include the performance of Preventative Maintenance Checks (PMs), and review of in-store maintenance procedures as assigned, in Full Line Stores (FLS), KMart and off-mall stores. The QMTII assists their store in maintaining the standards and disciplines needed to provide a high level of customer satisfaction and impact energy usage. The candidate for this position will also provide training to support the activities of the Quality Maintenance Technician Level I (QMTI). The person seeking this position should be a self-starter, be proficient in completing tasks in the required time frame and have a strong mechanical aptitude. Daily travel is required. Occasional overnight stays are required in remote areas of the country and as emergency situations require. This position reports to the District Facilities Manager (DFM).Responsibilities•?Maintains HVAC and plumbing needs – roof top units (RTU s), chillers, restroom•?Maintains electrical and Communication systems- ballasts, Ethernet•?Maintains material handling equipment - Baler, compactors etc.•?Maintains interior and exterior of the building•?Performs Preventative Maintenance checks requiring technical knowledge•?Provide training to support the activities of the QMT1•?Perform administrative duties utilizing the Sears Maintenance and Repair Ticket (SMART)system•?Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the District Facilities Manager (DFM)

Quality Technician - Team Lead

Details: PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:This position will be a full time lead auditor/inspector for all ship-in machines and machines manufactured in the Springdale facility, along with supervising the audit activity.  This position will be responsible to create and maintain the requested log sheets, inspection sheets and audit criteria.  This position will be responsible for ensuring that all machines are audited according to the specifications and frequency provided and removing any issues within the system through continuous improvement.  This position will be responsible for supervising the other Quality Technicians within the machine audit process and managing the work load in cases of absenteeism, increased shipment receipts, etc.  The Lead Auditor will have the responsibility of verifying that the machines meet an acceptable level based on the criteria provided by the Quality Department and provide feedback to document the progression of this activity within the database for verifying that the machines meet an acceptable level based on a checklist or criteria that will be provided by the Quality Department, and provide feedback to document the progression of this activity within the database as specified by the department. This position will also be responsible to communicate Quality issues to the Quality Department and supplier and assist in rectifying the Quality issues.  This position will also assist with maintaining this activity along with continuous improvement.

Quality Technician

Details: This position will be a full time auditor/inspector for all ship-in machines and machines manufactured in the Springdale facility.  This position will be responsible for verifying that the machines meet an acceptable level based on a checklist or criteria that will be provided by the Quality Department.  The expectation will be for this position to fully complete the check/audit sheet with requested information and will be required to input data into a database as specified by the department.  This position will also be responsible to communicate Quality issues to the Quality Department and supplier and assist in rectifying the Quality issues.  This position will also assist with maintaining this activity along with continuous improvement.
