Electrician
Details: DLMDL JV is seeking an Electrician for its contact to provide facilities operations and maintenance services at the IRS Building in Austin, Texas. Requirements: Must have a current State of Texas Journeyman Electrician License. Must have a minimum of 6 years journeyman level experience operating, maintaining, and diagnosing 480 volt 3 phase motor control centers, distribution centers, UPS systems, motors, transformers and alarm systems, PA systems, clock systems, security systems, automatic door closures, and HVAC controls. Must be able to read blueprints, electrical one line diagrams and wiring schematics. Must be able to troubleshoot and repair interior and exterior light fixtures, lighting contactors and lighting circuits for normal and emergency circuits. Must be able to troubleshoot and repair 120 volt branch circuits for normal and UPS power. Education High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. 2 year degree in Electrical field highly desirable. State of Texas Journeyman Electrician License required. Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug alcohol screening, and criminal background check.
